Punctuation saves lives!

“Lets eat Grandma!”

“Lets eat, Grandma!”

If you chose the second option – you are right.

The first sentence coveys that it’s Grandma who is to be eaten, however, the second one has a comma in it which makes it clear that Grandma is being asked to come and eat!

Always use proper punctuation to avoid misunderstandings and save lives!
