American English V/S British English-II

All of us get confused whether it’s “colour” or “color”. Well, I’d like to tell you that both are correct, the only difference is the former is British English while the latter is American English.

We, in India, follow the British style of writing and hence some alphabets that are used are silent, the word being the same. Americans prefer to omit the silent alphabets.

This is about the way we spell. Sometimes British and American English have different words for the same thing.  click here for more!
