How Blogs Help You Learn English

Ours is the internet generation- we do not seek knowledge in books, but online. Whatever be the question – Google has the answer. This has further promoted the trend of learning online.

Learning a language online has several benefits and the internet is flooded with resource material for guidance. Online English lessons, English speaking classes and various other English speaking courses have taken over the internet by  storm.

But there are other ways of learning as well. You can supplement your learning by reading relevant material like blogs on English.

What kind of blogs do I read?

English learning blogs (like ours!) are quite useful when it comes to grammar. Detailed explanation along with examples help the learner understand the concept.

The reason blogs are better is because they offer increased readability. The casual tone and simple writing style that is used is much easier as compared to language used in textbooks. The learner is thus able to develop an interest in the language and “study time” becomes enjoyable.

Another reason is that blogs keep the reader engaged – something which textbooks fail to do. I like to call this “disguised learning” because the students read the blog and learn unintentionally. They need not sit down with a pile of books and mug up concepts. They learn the fun way.

Can I Start My Own Blog?

Yes, why not? In fact, it will motivate you to work hard to learn English. You can share your thoughts, ideas, tips that helped you learn English and so on. In this way, you are able to connect with other learners and contribute to the learning process. Also, it is the best writing practice you can get, so make the most of it.

Not only will you inspire other learners, but can also earn money if your blog becomes a hit! Now, who does not want that?

Keep reading our blog for more ideas on how to go about it.

Best of luck!
